Dear Friends and Family,
At Harvest House of Prayer, we are gearing up to host an extended time of prayer. While we know we are no longer under the law of Moses, we do believe God has ordained special seasons and occasions which still apply today—and we are about to enter a powerful time!
The days of September 6th -16th are known as the Days of Awe in the Jewish Calendar. It is a time where God’s people sacrifice lesser things to draw closer to the heart of the Father. We want to extend the invitation to our local community to join us for this special time.
This year we are actually bringing two wide-scale prayer initiatives (10 Days and Tent America) together into one event.
Global (Ten Days)
10 Days is an annual prayer initiative that is rapidly growing worldwide. It is an attempt to create a “Global Upper Room” causing entire cities to turn to God and to experience revival. Last year, over 150 locations on six continents took part in this event. This movement, at its core, is rooted in the 10 “Days of Awe” between the biblical Feasts of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. These feasts prophetically foreshadow the second coming. Therefore, 10 Days is also a time of longing for the return of Jesus Christ.
National (Tent America)
Tent America is a nationwide 100 day event that runs from June 12 – Sept. 20, 2021. Hundreds of tents have already been set up in cities across America where they have hosted many hours of continuous prayer, worship, and proclaiming the gospel. The worship leaders/teams are from a variety of churches and denominations joining together in unity to bring the presence of God in the midst of our communities.
Local (how it will look at Take the City)

- Inspired by the 10 days leadership team, we are offering “The Promise Map” prayer strategy. We have a map of the Chattahoochee Valley, where churches and individuals can write down promises (words, Bible verses, songs) they are hearing for our city on sticky notes and leave them on the map and pray over them throughout the 10 days.
