Because You Give...Another Addict Was Set Free
Dear friends,
We love the divine appointments the Lord leads us into with lost and broken people in our city. At an outdoor worship event we were hosting, Jon wandered into the tent to listen to the music. As we struck up a conversation, he confessed that he was an alcoholic, and unburdened his heart about the many years he had spent in addiction– how it had robbed him of his house, his family, and his possessions. He was tired… and ready to make a change.
We shared testimonies of how God had totally changed our own lives through the power of the gospel. Asking how he could have that same experience, we led Jon to Jesus then and there and asked if he wanted to be water baptized. He said yes! With 20 other believers as witnesses, we gleefully baptized this man who had just been made new and was now radiating with joy and hope!
It really is the last line in the famous Starfish Story… “Made a difference to that one.”

The people I've met have showed soooooo much love to us and I'm grateful for that. Not only do they teach on truth, but they walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and encourage others around them to do so also! God has also allowed me to be a part of a ministry as well.
