SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY- Mark 11:22-23
Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says in his heart, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever says. (NKJV)
Thought of the day
In this devotional Kecia draws our attention to the importance of believing God for the impossible when fasting. We can do this by reading the written word, the Bible, and then speaking it in faith. When we do this, mountains will be moved, in Jesus’ name!
Questions to ponder
-What “mountain” am I believing God to move into the sea?
-What portions of scripture relating to these circumstances can you read, pray, and declare to increase your faith for things to shift?
-When, today, can you get alone with God to read, pray, and declare these passages of scripture?
“Getting to be a part of Take the City was such a blessing both in seeing how God moved in the lives of the people I met as well as how he moved in my heart. I was so encouraged to be surrounded by people willing to passionately pray for their city and the people in it. As we worshipped, people would stop and ask what was going on and we got to talk and pray with them. I felt a greater desire to pray for our nation grow in me as we sang and prayed together.”
