This past month after my team had just hit the streets we stumbled upon a liquor store. Moments after arriving, we saw a group of bikers go into the store. As they went in, we had just finished talking and sharing God’s love with someone. We were about to leave, but we all felt we should stay. So we hung around for a bit. As soon as the bikers came out of the liquor store, I complimented on how nice their bikes looked. After introducing myself, I asked the group if they would care if I prayed a prayer of protection over them – in which I had no intention of them actually saying yes- then one of them spoke up and said “sure.” So I invited them to get in a big circle and we would prayed over them. As I began to pray, I felt the Lord moving. One of the men came in agreement with my prayers saying “yes and amen.” Immediately I felt God nudging to give an alter call. So I did. As I prayed with the group each man lifted their voice asking Jesus to come into their lives and professing Jesus Christ as Lord. The moment was so amazing. And It seemed as if God’s grace, truth and love was covering them.
Afterwards we all shook hands and went our separate ways. As we left we noticed a local “freemasonry ”badge on their jacket. Personally, we may not know much about these men, where they come from, or what exactly they believe, but we do know is God is pursuing each of them with His unconditional love and their lives were touched that day by their simple faith to call out to Jesus and believe for salvation. As we left our group was so overwhelmed with joy thanking God for the opportunity to witness these men come to the Lord.
