Over the last six months the Take the City staff team has grown! We wanted to celebrate all that God is doing and introduce all of our newest team members to you. We know that God has given us a 2020 Vision and that He is bringing together the right people to help make this dream become a reality.
Our Newest Team Members:
Lynn Alderson has served on the Take the City board of Directors since its inception. Starting in February 2018 she has also stepped into a role of Chief Operating Officer for the organization. She has years of non-profit and business experience and she is helping to lead and manage the operations of the organization.
Louis and Nancy Chalmers moved to Columbus, GA in late 2017 to volunteer with Take the City. Louis is an engineer and also has ran a construction company. Nancy is an interior decorator. They both also run a non-profit ministry called, Help4Haiti where they serve orphans in Haiti. They both will be serving to help manage the Project: LifeHouse home renovations.
Lisa Eady and her husband Jeremy are originally from Double Springs, AL. Their family is moving into one of our Project: LifeHouse homes and also Lisa will be serving as our local outreach and training coordinator. Both her and her husband have a heart to share the gospel and to serve the local churches of our community!
Jessica Amor grew up in the Atlanta Metro area. After struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol she went into a Christian discipleship program and her life was radically changed. She now has a passion to reach the lost and to minister to women that are caught in sex-trafficking. She is now serving as an outreach coordinator for our Redeem Outreach Initiative.
Karissa Corpeny lives in Kansas City, MO with her family. She currently runs a consulting firm called, Redwoods Consulting. She is serving with Take the City as the National Events Administrator. Her role is laser focused on helping to plan and create systems for our Take the City equipping events that we are hosting all around the US.
