This Month’s Prayer Focus For REDEEM!

Redeem is Take the City’s newest outreach initiative to the area of sex trafficking in our community. We believe God has given us a vision to eradicate sex trafficking. We do a lot of outreach (in the streets, online, over the phone). We also have weekly prayer, every Thursday morning from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM at the Take the City building (2910 2nd ave. Columbus, GA 31904). Please join us for a powerful time of worship and intercession!

 

Monthly Prayer Points: 

  • All the ladies we are currently building relationships with, that they would leave the life of prostitution and be restored and healed fully.  
  • Safe Home being finalized and ready for Ladies to be taken in   
  • Exposure to all the sex trafficking plans in our area as well as the nations.                     
  • Raise up laborers to work in the harvest with us
  • Favor to all we do!
  • Pray for our government and everyone on the legislative end of this issue.
  • Auburn Online Outreach
  • Product line “Beautifully Made”

Thank you for your help in this fight. Together we will see commercial sexual exploitation demolished!

I have been serving in some way with Take the city since October 2013. I spent a lot of time on the prayer team in the beginning and encountered God’s heart for the city in a life changing way. When the teams came back and shared testimonies, it was always fun to see that our prayers coincided with some of their testimonies in special ways. More recently I have had the privilege of leading a team to a nursing home where I used to be an employee. I used to pray over the facility every day, and it was such a miracle to see an old friend who lives there give his life to Jesus on one of our outreaches a year later. God sure has a way of answering prayers. And Take the City is an answer to so many prayers that have gone up here.
