What does a “New Covenant Reality” mean for us as Christians?
Have you ever wondered more of what the term “new covenant” from the Bible really means? In this series of videos, we will explore the reality of the New Covenant from the Bible!
When Jesus was having the last supper with His disciples, he raised a cup of wine and said that this wine was a symbol of the new covenant that was paid for by My blood. We will explore more about why Jesus said this as they took communion and where the term “new covenant” comes from in the Bible. We will dig into some of the old testament examples of the covenant as well.
Then we will look more closely into the story of Israel and some of the promises given to Israel concerning the New Covenant. After we look at these promises, we will explore how Jesus came to initiate this new covenant and how this affected the lives of his early followers. Finally, in the conclusion of this series, we look at how this incredible new covenant reality can affect our daily lives.

I have been serving in some way with Take the city since October 2013. I spent a lot of time on the prayer team in the beginning and encountered God’s heart for the city in a life changing way. When the teams came back and shared testimonies, it was always fun to see that our prayers coincided with some of their testimonies in special ways. More recently I have had the privilege of leading a team to a nursing home where I used to be an employee. I used to pray over the facility every day, and it was such a miracle to see an old friend who lives there give his life to Jesus on one of our outreaches a year later. God sure has a way of answering prayers. And Take the City is an answer to so many prayers that have gone up here.
