You should remember when we announced that a safe home has been donated. Well in the past couple months, the community has really responded greatly. There is a lot of renovations to do on the house but a local electric company has asked if they can donate all the electric work and supplies! We have also had people reaching out saying they can donate some labor and other materials so God is truly blessing this project and we are so excited to be able to provide emergency shelter and transition for these ladies as well as have a place to do more intentional ministry with the ladies. We hope to be done with this project by April but it will take a lot of pulling together so if you or anyone you know may would be able to help, please let us know. Thank you so so much.

My first encounter with Take the City was going to Wilson Apartments in Columbus GA. We were met by a man from that neighborhood who prayed with us before we began the outreach. We set up an area for the kids to play and others went door to door witnessing and praying for people. It truly was a humbling experience. Another time I got to pray at an abortion clinic which was another humbling experience. The worship services the night before are always dynamic and spirit led. However I will conclude with the best part for me was being an eight week participant of Take the City boot camp. All of the leaders were simply AWESOME and I learned so much during those eight weeks. I thank God for all these wonderful opportunities!
