Reaching 10,000 Families with the Gospel in One Day!

As we pray and share the good news, there is a spirit of expectation and excitement filing our neighborhoods! God is restoring His Church, healing its brokenness, breaking down dividing walls and preparing a mighty army. As more and more ministries join hands for the good work, we are overjoyed and bursting with expectation. Habakkuk 2:14 speaks of a day when the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Waters covering the sea? That’s saturation! God’s plan is for the whole earth to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord by His Spirit in us, His Church, every day and in every way! God’s plan is Gospel Saturation!

With that plan in mind, we are excited to share with you about an upcoming initiative that Take the City is facilitating called “Saturate the Valley”! On Saturday, September 15, 2018 there will be teams going out from churches all over the Chattahoochee Valley. Our goal is to have 100 churches, reaching 100 homes each, for a total of 10,000 homes reached with the gospel in one day!

We are inviting your church to partner with us in this transformational initiative. It’s a three hour commitment that will have a lasting impact on the Kingdom. The teams will simply go out knock on doors love on people, share the gospel and invite them to join you for service the following Sunday. And, from now until September we are offering free training and materials to all churches who partner with us! We would welcome the opportunity to personally talk with you more about how we can partner together to saturate the Chattahoochee Valley with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

I have been serving in some way with Take the city since October 2013. I spent a lot of time on the prayer team in the beginning and encountered God’s heart for the city in a life changing way. When the teams came back and shared testimonies, it was always fun to see that our prayers coincided with some of their testimonies in special ways. More recently I have had the privilege of leading a team to a nursing home where I used to be an employee. I used to pray over the facility every day, and it was such a miracle to see an old friend who lives there give his life to Jesus on one of our outreaches a year later. God sure has a way of answering prayers. And Take the City is an answer to so many prayers that have gone up here.
