When you think of Thanksgiving, what comes to mind? I’m sure you’ve just been flooded with thoughts and pictures of family gatherings with all your favorite holiday dishes – roasted turkey, sweet potato soufflé, green bean casserole. Can you imagine all the families in our area who may be struggling with a financial crisis? Did you know that 26.7% of Columbus residents live with an income below the poverty line. That’s 3 out of 10 people living in poverty. I wonder how many families in our area will go without a family dinner this Thanksgiving. What would happen if we put our hearts, minds and resources together. Could we see our city forever changed? As the body of Christ, I believe that together we can see our city transformed.
We would like to invite each of you to partner with us by sponsoring a family for Thanksgiving. We are looking for 100 families to donate $25 to help us provide 100 turkeys for needy families. Be A Part of City Wide Transformation.
We are receiving donations for our MEGA GARAGE SALE this Friday November 17th from 4p till 6pm. We will receive anything and everything. Our drop off location is 2910 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA 31904 For more info click here.
On Friday November 17th at 6:30pm 
will meet atHighland Community for “United in Prayer,” which is an initiative to engage believers to pray and intercede for their city. We believe during this time our prayers will prepare the way for lives to be impacted by the love of Jesus during the outreaches the next day. Click here for more info.
Then on Saturday November 18th, 
we will be partnering with Revamp, Highland Community, Evangel Temple and many other churches to host a “Unity and Prayer March” to be a voice against violence in our city.” After the march we will have a FREE LUNCH and host our Turkey Giveaway Click here for more.
