Redeem believes that Jesus loves every single person in the sex industry and that He calls us to share His love with them. We demonstrate His love through prayer, outreaches and rescue. During our outreaches we build relationships with the community and search for girls that are in the life of trafficking and prostitution. One of the places that helps us look for girls is a local sex shop. The manager there is a sweet woman from the Philippines and always wants our team to pray with her when we stop by, but this time was different. Our team felt earlier while we were praying that God was going to do powerful healings tonight. When we asked her how we could pray for her, she told us that she was in much pain from her stomach ulcers. We shared with her the many healings we’ve seen Jesus do and that we believed that Jesus was going to do the same thing for her. As our team began to intercede for her healing, the presence of the Lord came so strongly over her that she felt heat all over her body. Afterwards she began to cry because she said ALL the pain was gone. We embraced her and cried with her as we celebrated Jesus for healing her. Our team checked back in two weeks later and she said the doctor said the ulcers have completely disappeared!!
