Project LifeHouse // Impacting Lives in Columbus, Georgia

November 30, 2020

Our ministry is seeing incredible things happen in the East Highland Neighborhood of Columbus, Georgia. We have launched a community-driven food drive that is a part of our Project Lifehouse initiative’s efforts in the community. This is just one example of what God is doing in our city! The Bedsole Family moved from Oregon to come and serve in our city and to live in one of our missionary homes. They are excited to help partner with the neighbors in this community to help encourage and empower those living there to see redemption and restoration of the area. It’s amazing how we’re seeing dignity restored to the area as the community is coming together and serving! Take the City is excited to be partnering with churches and businesses from all over the Chattahoochee Valley area to work towards transforming 10 neighborhoods in our area. The goal of “Project LifeHouse” is to fix up homes in impoverished areas and then place families and individuals in those areas to bring hope and transformation. We plan to do this through consistent service projects, outreaches, and by sharing the love of Christ while living there. United in Prayer

What is United in Prayer?

United in Prayer is an initiative of Take the City which unifies local believers for worship and intercession to prepare the way for lives to be transformed by the love and power of Jesus.
What does the Church need today?

“What the Church needs to-day is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use — men of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but through men. He does not come on machinery, but on men. He does not anoint plans, but men — men of prayer.”

― E.M. Bounds, Power Through Prayer
