Christmas Carol Flash Mob

November 22, 2016

This winter, we want to bring in Christmas cheer by signing loud for all to hear! Join us on December 9th and 10th for a time of prayer, worship and Christmas caroling. On December 9th at 6:30pm, we will come together for worship and prayer for our city and nation. On December 10th at 12:30pm, we will regroup for a time of worship and outreach training.  Afterwards, everyone will break up into teams.  Each team will go to different neighborhoods to pass out FREE candy canes and sing Christmas carols. We will finish the day with a “Christmas Carol Flash Mob” at a secret undisclosed location. The location will be revealed during the day of the event. Feel free to invite your friend and family. All are welcome to join us. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Click here to find our event on...

Midland – Take the City Equipping Weekend

One of our greatest passions at Take the City is to help empower and equip people to be mobilized into their schools, workplaces, and cities to share the gospel. Our ministry, which is based in Columbus, GA, travels from city to city working with churches from various denominations to encourage and send out believers to share their faith in their local context. Our mission is to see the Body of Christ unified and mobilized to see entire cities transformed and revitalized.

Our team came in 2017 and we are excited to host this Take the City Equipping Conference in Midland, TX this May for our second time. Last year we had 100+ people who participated in our training and outreaches who were from various churches around the area. We believe that this year we’re going to equip even more people and impact even more lives with the Gospel.

This six-session conference is designed to help everyone who is a follower of Jesus Christ learn how to more effectively represent Him in everyday life. This training is not designed just for the “spiritually elite” but rather for everyday people who long to be used by God at their schools, workplaces, homes and surrounding community. Basically, the primary goal of this training is to help de-mystify evangelism for believers who may feel scared of sharing their faith.
