Sky Terminal – Free Concert

We are so excited to announce that Sunday January 1st we will be hosting the band Sky Terminal. This will be an all ages show and will be open to the first 200 people who come that night. Be sure to get there early! Sky Terminal is a melodic rock band from Toronto, Canada. Comprised of band members Marcel Preston and Scott Mason, Sky Terminal is rapidly becoming known for a distinctive fusion of rock music with a message of hope. The music was birthed over a 5 year period where lead vocalist Marcel Preston crafted and recorded songs in his own personal studio.  With the release of “Don’t Close Your Eyes”  (2011), the album picked up a Juno Nomination.    The band followed up with multiple coast-to-coast tours and were featured on radio across the country.  Following the success of their first album, they spent eight months in studio producing their sophomore album, “We Are One,” released it in the spring of 2014, which was recently named “Rock Album of the Year” at the Canadian GMA awards.  A new studio album is underway and is set for release in the fall of 2016. Even with only 2 Take the City Outreaches under my belt, they have made such an impact in my own personal journey of faith, and others I have crossed paths with! The most special part to me is knowing that even if I meet someone and I never see them again, I know God has allowed me to touch their heart and plant a seed that I couldn’t have done sitting at home. I’m so thankful for this organization because it truly has allowed me to connect with others, with the goal of bringing them closer to Christ, while becoming closer with God myself at the same time.
