An Unforgettable Conference!

December 28, 2015

Earlier this month we hosted our very first Take the City Conference and we had over 150 people in attendance. Robby Dawkins, our guest speaker shared about the importance of stepping out in faith and taking risks as we minister to people who are around us in our daily lives. We also had Eminent Worship lead us in powerful times of prayer and worship. On Saturday we sent out all those in attendance to locations all around the Valley to share God’s love and to pray for people. Our teams saw God do incredible things and many people were saved and healed in their bodies. It was truly an unforgettable experience! Check out a testimony we received after the conference: I just want to thank you so much for having me this weekend! I was blessed all day today. I felt the Holy Spirit in a way that I have never experienced. I was touched by a divine hand. I came home and laid hands on my mom who was instantly healed of pain in her shoulders and knees and has had nausea for two days which is now gone! She’s also a diabetic I commanded her blood sugar to return to normal. It literally has went down over 50 points in 5 min. To God be the glory! We are so thankful for all those who helped to make this event possible, especially Bob and Karla Lee from Teen Challenge who hosted the event at Lakeside Retreat and Event center. We are so grateful that Robby Dawkins and his Assistant Tim Brasic were able to come and join...

United In Prayer

What is United in Prayer?
United in Prayer is an initiative of Take the City which unifies local believers for worship and intercession to prepare the way for lives to be transformed by the love and power of Jesus.

What does the Church need today?
“What the Church needs to-day is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use — men of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but through men. He does not come on machinery, but on men. He does not anoint plans, but men — men of prayer.”

― E.M. Bounds, Power Through Prayer
