April 28, 2016Come join us for an unforgettable weekend as people from all over the area are gathering together to see our city forever changed! Friday night we will have a powerful time of worship and prayer. Saturday we will gather together for a time of training and then we will send out teams all over the area to share the love of Christ! Evangelism Bootcamp – 8 Weeks
December 28, 2015Discovering the JOY 8 Session Evangelism Boot-camp We want to journey with you in discovering the JOY in representing God’s love and goodness in everyday situations. This eight week course is designed to help everyone who is a follower of Jesus Christ learn how to more effectively represent Him in everyday life. This Boot-Camp is not designed just for the “spiritually elite” but rather everyday people who long to be used by God at their schools, workplaces, homes and surrounding community. The primary goal of this Boot-Camp is to help de-mystify evangelism for believers who may feel scared of sharing their faith. This Boot-camp is eight sessions long and can be done either during a weekend or over an eight week period. News Update – September 2015
September 14, 2015As I look past over this past month and all the lives have been touched here in the Chattahoochee Valley area not only through Take the City but also by all the other amazing ministries and churches I am really excited. I believe that the Kingdom of God is truly advancing in our area and that God is doing a great thing here through His Church. As more and more churches and organizations are connecting and working together I see that the Church is only getting more strong and effective in reaching our city that desperately needs the HOPE that can only be found in Jesus Christ. One exciting thing I noticed this past outreach event was how diverse the Church is in our area and how much of a blessing the diversity is. I noticed this when one of our outreach teams returned overflowing with joy and excitement because of all they had seen God do. The thing I noticed was that the team was made up of a middle-aged white brother, middle aged black sister, two young Hispanic brothers and a young black brother. I sat and thought about it and realized that they were all from different churches and cultures but they had all been able to come together and agree that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is worth sharing to our city. God is bringing people together from various races and denominations in our city in ways like never before! I wish I had more time each month to simply write down and record the testimonies of all the amazing things we have been seeing!...
