Local Outreach – Chattahoochee Valley

November 25, 2020

The month of November, we had a Thanksgiving Food Drive through Harvest Coffee Co. Through the food and monetary gifts that we received, we were able to box up 74 big boxes of food for families in Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL and distribute them in neighborhoods on Saturday November 21st. We sent out 5 teams of believers from all over the city who went out together to minister the Gospel and feed hungry families. Before we left, we prayed that the Lord would send us to just the right people. The Lord delivered in no time! We had SO MANY powerful encounters! Of the testimonies we heard, one woman rededicated her life to Christ! 5 people were physically healed! 99 people were impacted across the Chattahoochee Valley! Men, women, and children were encouraged that we went out to pray for them and offer them food for thanksgiving. We cannot wait to go back out next month on Saturday December 19th and see what more the Lord has in store. If you would like to go out with us, please email...

Then she walked up and down the street and even danced a little! This 72 year old woman who had walked up with a cane said, “I don’t need this anymore!” Praise...

Melissa – YWAM Boston

“Getting to be a part of Take the City was such a blessing both in seeing how God moved in the lives of the people I met as well as how he moved in my heart. I was so encouraged to be surrounded by people willing to passionately pray for their city and the people in it. As we worshipped, people would stop and ask what was going on and we got to talk and pray with them. I felt a greater desire to pray for our nation grow in me as we sang and prayed together.”
