What is Project: LifeHouse?

November 18, 2016

What is Project: LifeHouse? We are so excited to announce that God is taking one of our dreams and turning it into a reality. Over the last year we have dreamed of establishing missionary homes in areas we are working and we’ve recently been given a home to use for this very purpose! The name of this dream is Project: Lifehouse. Take the City is excited to be partnering with churches and businesses from all over the Chattahoochee Valley area to work towards transforming 10 neighborhoods in our area. The goal of “Project LifeHouse” is to fix up homes in impoverished areas and then place families and individuals in those areas to bring hope and transformation. We plan to do this through consistent service projects, outreaches and by sharing the love of Christ while living there. In exchange for doing weekly service projects and outreaches in those areas these families and individuals will pay reduced rent to stay in these homes in exchange for their service. Over time we believe that these efforts will transform the neighborhoods we are working in by decreasing crime and increasing the quality of life in these areas. Please watch the video below that tells more of the story and simply respond to this email if you would like to get involved with this project in any way! TTC led me out of darkness and into the love I’ve longed for my entire life, the love of JESUS.  They’ve taught me to love like Jesus by walking out my created purpose.  My Spirit has been healed, I am whole, because of their obedience to do God’s will.  They have introduced me to and welcomed me into a powerful tribe of women that love Jesus with their whole heart.  Women that strengthen, teach, support, and encourage one another with the power and authority given by the Holy Spirit.  I am eternally grateful for their ministry and humbled to be called family.
