REACH School Announcement!

December 17, 2018

Reach School is a 6-month school focused on empowering people to walk in their identity and boldly share the good news of Jesus Christ. This school will equip you to share the gospel and launch outreaches through your local church. The school is rooted in prayer, the scriptures and the presence of God. Our classes will be focused on simple teachings, activities and assignments that will help you grow. The courses will be broken into two segments with six courses and sessions that will build upon themselves. It’s been 3 years!

June 2, 2016

This whole year has been such an exciting year for our entire team with Take the City as we have watched God continue to move in tremendous ways. Our great passion as a ministry is to see the Body of Christ be brought together in unity and mobilized to see our cities transformed by the love of Jesus. This year we have been seeing these two things take place at a level we would have never dreamed of when we first launched Take the City three years ago. This past weekend we held our Take the City outreach event and celebrated 3 consecutive years serving the Chattahoochee Valley. It was so exciting to see all the new people God has brought together and to look back at all God has done over these past years. One thing that was fun for me was looking back at how launching the very first Take the City event was something I really didn’t want to plan. While I knew God was leading us to plan an outreach event in May of 2013, I also was well aware that it was going to be a lot of work to put an event like this together in just a few weeks. I am so thankful that instead of listening to my doubts our small team obeyed the voice of the Holy Spirit in launching the very first Take the City event. The reality is that even after our first event we really had no idea that we were going to do the outreaches again. After some prayer and seeing what God had done in our city we then knew...

Brittany

I have been serving in some way with Take the city since October 2013. I spent a lot of time on the prayer team in the beginning and encountered God’s heart for the city in a life changing way. When the teams came back and shared testimonies, it was always fun to see that our prayers coincided with some of their testimonies in special ways. More recently I have had the privilege of leading a team to a nursing home where I used to be an employee. I used to pray over the facility every day, and it was such a miracle to see an old friend who lives there give his life to Jesus on one of our outreaches a year later. God sure has a way of answering prayers. And Take the City is an answer to so many prayers that have gone up here.
