At Regent University Chapel Take the City is a movement that is impacting cities all over America. Our mission is to unify and mobilize the churches in cities to take the gospel of Jesus Christ into their cities and see those cities forever changed. We want to invite you to this powerful one-day training event where you will be encouraged, equipped and activated to share God’s love with people everywhere you go! This training will involve times of worship, prayer, training, activities and outreaches out into the city. People of all ages and from various denominations are all welcomed to this training event. Our primary focus is to help equip every-day followers of Jesus Christ to grow in sharing the gospel and impacting the world around them. What is Encounter Outreach?

Take the City is partnering with Every Home for Christ to equip and activate the local believers to see our WHOLE city reached with the GOOD NEWS.

We believe it takes ONE ENCOUNTER WITH GOD to shake up and transform a person’s life, to give hope to the hopeless, restoration to the broken and healing to the hurting.

How can we respond?

We have been given the honor of playing a pivotal role in sharing the Good News with the world, inviting others to experience the saving love of God. When we intentionally interact with the people around us, we see amazing things happen!

Come join us for ENCOUNTER OUTREACH. We will have a time of equipping, activating and sending. As well as a time afterwards to dialogue about what God did during the outreach and how we can implement this in our personal lives.

This event will be in partnership and hosted with “City Gate Church” in Phenix City, AL.
