Harvest Day – Wells Family Testimony

May 27, 2022

Harvest Day - Wells Family Testimony Evangelism is not an event, IT’S A LIFESTYLE! Evangelism simply means spreading the gospel of Jesus. There are many ways it can be done but it should be done by all believers. Jesus should be as much a part of our conversations as our spouses, children, families, friends, hobbies, or anything else that we love are. Why wouldn’t we talk about Jesus? We love him! He has saved us and set us free. We can’t help but talk about him every chance we get. Harvest Day, our monthly outreach event, equips individuals to share their faith as they go out in teams together spreading across many different neighborhoods in our cities. Our greater desire is for this training to extend well beyond the reach of our monthly event and into the everyday circles of influence of all who attend.  Our friends Adam and Saretta Wells, along with their three young sons, recently attended Harvest Day and took the training they received and the experience shared with the team into their own neighborhood. Saretta agreed to share this testimony with us. I hope as you read it you find strength and encouragement to begin your lifestyle of evangelism. We came to our first outreach with Take the City in the beginning of 2022. We were placed with Ms. Maya and were blessed to go out in her area around Young Avenue. She made it easy for all of us, including our children, to be involved as the Lord led, and we had an awesome experience. The Lord gave our group many words of knowledge...

Redeem – Renovations are Under Way!

May 10, 2022

Redeem - Renovation are Under Way! All Money Raised! Redeem is very happy to announce that our luncheon raised all the funds we were needing to remodel our clothing closet into a boutique for ladies in our community! Renovations began this past month and are continuing. We plan to have a big Grand Opening once The Beautiful Exchange is fully ready for the ladies. April Outreach Recap Our April outreach went really well. We had 18 volunteers go out and hit the streets of Columbus and Phenix City! We passed out care bags and roses, and there were many powerful encounters! We were able to help a husband and wife who were sleeping in their car find safe housing. One of our ladies celebrated one year of sobriety and stability after years of addiction and homelessness! We were also able to pray with multiple ladies and had three salvations! Mother’s Day Outreach This past Friday, we received many blessings. Praise Ministry Tabernacle catered our dinner for our volunteers. We received a very powerful teaching on the prophetic gift by guest speaker Mariel Villarreal. Church of the Highlands put together many Mother’s day gifts for us to give out to the ladies. When we went out, we were able to minister to 25-30 people and have extensive ministry time with several ladies that are usually one-minute encounters! We are glorifying Jesus for all He has done! If you would like to come out on one of our Friday night outreaches, please...

Local Outreach – A Woman Gets Healed!

May 1, 2019

During our local outreach on April 20, one of our staff prayed with a woman near his home. The woman expressed that she wanted freedom from her addiction and to know Jesus. Steve led her through a prayer of salvation, and she rededicated her life to Christ. Directly afterward, Steve asked her if she had any pain in her body, not realizing she had been leaning on the side of the building the whole time, struggling to stand up. She had had hip replacement and still was in a lot of pain. Steve prayed for her, and God healed her immediately from all the pain! She began to move side to side in disbelief. Then she walked up and down the street and even danced a little! This 72 year old woman who had walked up with a cane said, “I don’t need this anymore!” Praise...

Sky Terminal – Free Concert

We are so excited to announce that Sunday January 1st we will be hosting the band Sky Terminal. This will be an all ages show and will be open to the first 200 people who come that night. Be sure to get there early!

Sky Terminal is a melodic rock band from Toronto, Canada. Comprised of band members Marcel Preston and Scott Mason, Sky Terminal is rapidly becoming known for a distinctive fusion of rock music with a message of hope.

The music was birthed over a 5 year period where lead vocalist Marcel Preston crafted and recorded songs in his own personal studio.  With the release of “Don’t Close Your Eyes”  (2011), the album picked up a Juno Nomination.    The band followed up with multiple coast-to-coast tours and were featured on radio across the country.  Following the success of their first album, they spent eight months in studio producing their sophomore album, “We Are One,” released it in the spring of 2014, which was recently named “Rock Album of the Year” at the Canadian GMA awards.  A new studio album is underway and is set for release in the fall of 2016.

Sky Terminal continues to forge the future of their music with new songs and touring.  “We just can’t wait to get back on the road.  We love to do what we do and we just can’t do it without the support of our families, friends – and fans. We love to meet all these people that have supported our music along the way.  Seeing our music have an impact on people gives us reason and vision to keep doing what we do.  Our listeners have been such a key ingredient in our success and we can’t thank them enough.  We see our music as a window of opportunity into someone’s life.  We sing about hope and love.  There’s always a story that can be told that will change our lives and perspective.  That’s what we aim to do.”   (Marcel, lead vocalist)
