Having a Heavenly Perspective

June 5, 2017

Today there is a constant battle for your mind and heart. New Channels, ad agencies, social agencies, various causes, movements, political parties are all fighting for to have you come into agreement with their perspective. They want you to see their perspective of various social issues, causes and world views. At the very same time God is also calling you to come into agreement with His perspective. He wants you to have a heavenly lens by which you see the world around you. We have a choice each day. Whose perspective will we come into agreement with? Since you became alive again, so to speak, when Christ arose from the dead, now set your sights on the rich treasures and joys of heaven where he sits beside God in the place of honor and power. Let heaven fill your thoughts; don’t spend your time worrying about things down here. You should have as little desire for this world as a dead person does. Your real life is in heaven with Christ and God. And when Christ who is our real life comes back again, you will shine with him and share in all his glories. Help Improve Your Team – Proverbs 27

February 2, 2017

Being a leader can be an enormous challenge and a huge privilege all at once. One of the biggest blessings you have as a leader/ parent/ teacher is getting to watch those you lead grow. There is so much joy to be found as you get to watch them discover their talents, their passions and pursue their dreams. Below is an encouraging word for ministry leaders, pastors and volunteer leaders on how we can apply this simple scripture to help improve your team! Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations. When the hay is removed and new growth appears and the grass from the hills is gathered in, the lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field. You will have plenty of goats’ milk to feed your family and to nourish your female servants. (Prov 27:23-Prov 27:27 NIV ) A Few Things we can learn: God’s greatest treasure he’s given us in the ministry we work in is not the donors, the assets or the events. The greatest treasure are the people He’s entrusted us with. Think of your team this morning and allow God to show you how they are treasure that He’s entrusted you with. Take a few minutes to pray over them. Prayer is a powerful way to help improve your team! Take an honest assessment of your “flock”. Who’s on your team and how are they really doing? Do you sense any conflict, strife or...

TTC led me out of darkness and into the love I’ve longed for my entire life, the love of JESUS.  They’ve taught me to love like Jesus by walking out my created purpose.  My Spirit has been healed, I am whole, because of their obedience to do God’s will.  They have introduced me to and welcomed me into a powerful tribe of women that love Jesus with their whole heart.  Women that strengthen, teach, support, and encourage one another with the power and authority given by the Holy Spirit.  I am eternally grateful for their ministry and humbled to be called family.
