This past Friday and Saturday, we had a Take the City weekend involving prayer, worship, and outreach in the Valley area. Many wonderful things happened: 122 people were prayed for, 15 people gave their lives to Christ, and 4 people received physical healing for various ailments.

Of those accounts, here is one woman’s story of healing:

Also – The woman on the right in this picture with a bible in her hand gave her life to Jesus that afternoon! She even ended up coming back to the take the city meeting afterwards where we all prayed for her!

Before the Liberty Outreach team even left the Teen Challenge building, one of their team members was in great need of prayer. Quadasia’s mom had barely been able to get out of bed Saturday morning. Terrible back pain made every move, every step extremely difficult. Determined to get to the Take the City outreach though, she dragged herself out of bed, fought through the pain, and made it to the building. Her daughter was concerned but also she was excited that her mom had joined her for outreach. She was just not sure how her mom was going to make it through the afternoon since they would be walking a lot.

 

Immediately the Liberty Outreach team came around her mom. Then they laid their hands on her and began praying for her back pain to cease in Jesus’ name. Afterwards a miraculous thing happened, the back pain ceased! Quadasia’s mom, Shirley, began moving, walking around, and even ran a little bit! NO PAIN WHAT SO EVER!!!! The Lord healed her back, and she was able to enjoy reaching out to the city all day. God be praised!
