Jonathan Cronin

Development Director and Social Enterprise Director

Jonathan grew up in the Columbus, GA area. He went through a life of addiction and ended up reaching a dark place until he experienced the love of Christ and gave his life to Jesus. He went through the Teen Challenge program in Dublin, GA and then through Valor School of Ministry located in Griffin, GA. In 2016, he came on with Take the City to lead the Redeem initiative helping to fight human trafficking. While in that position he oversaw the addition of a 24 hour hotline, emergency safe house for ladies, and many types of outreach rescuing over 100 ladies. He is now the development Director and oversees the social enterprises Beautifully Made and Harvest Coffee Co. He and his wife Jessica lead ministry online including devotions and other creative content. Check it out here!

My first encounter with Take the City was going to Wilson Apartments in Columbus GA. We were met by a man from that neighborhood who prayed with us before we began the outreach. We set up an area for the kids to play and others went door to door witnessing and praying for people. It truly was a humbling experience. Another time I got to pray at an abortion clinic which was another humbling experience. The worship services the night before are always dynamic and spirit led. However I will conclude with the best part for me was being an eight week participant of Take the City boot camp. All of the leaders were simply AWESOME and I learned so much during those eight weeks. I thank God for all these wonderful opportunities!
