Katherine Server

My name is Katherine Server. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Human Development and Family Science in May of ’13. Following my time in school, I worked with the UGA Wesley Foundation for 3 years, where I discipled college students and drew them more into the depths of God’s love. I have since worked full-time for Take the City and part-time as the Children’s Director for Grace Presbyterian Church. I love getting to encourage the saints and bring the lost into the Kingdom and touch His Little Ones with His Love. The Lord is gracious and kind and His love endures forever. “He is my Rock and my Salvation. In whom shall I be afraid?”(Psalm 27:1). I am blessed beyond belief to be in Columbus and be working with Take the City. I am in awe of what God has done and can’t wait to see what more He has in store!

I have been serving in some way with Take the city since October 2013. I spent a lot of time on the prayer team in the beginning and encountered God’s heart for the city in a life changing way. When the teams came back and shared testimonies, it was always fun to see that our prayers coincided with some of their testimonies in special ways. More recently I have had the privilege of leading a team to a nursing home where I used to be an employee. I used to pray over the facility every day, and it was such a miracle to see an old friend who lives there give his life to Jesus on one of our outreaches a year later. God sure has a way of answering prayers. And Take the City is an answer to so many prayers that have gone up here.
