During this season for Thanksgiving, we give thanks to the Lord for the many volunteers, donors, and ministry partners that have contributed energy, time, sweat, and resources to complete our Lifehouses on Bradley Circle (Bibb City), Young Avenue, and 26th Street (East Highlands). The past 3+ years, we have had 4 urban missionary families who have been able to live, serve, and share the love, joy, and peace of life found in Jesus Christ. God willing in 2021 we plan to complete renovations of our Garden Dr. Lifehouse, recruit another urban missionary family, and identify additional houses in communities that we serve during our monthly outreaches.

We are prayerfully asking that you and your church family considers becoming LifeHouse partners with us in 2021. You can help by volunteering for a workday and ministry outreach at one of our Lifehouses or by adopting a LifeHouse renovation project and donating funds, materials, and labor to complete it.

“Getting to be a part of Take the City was such a blessing both in seeing how God moved in the lives of the people I met as well as how he moved in my heart. I was so encouraged to be surrounded by people willing to passionately pray for their city and the people in it. As we worshipped, people would stop and ask what was going on and we got to talk and pray with them. I felt a greater desire to pray for our nation grow in me as we sang and prayed together.”
