Praise the Lord for local church outreach teams that come to minister to our LifeHouse communities and help us become good neighbors.
We thank our North Highland Church Serve Team who spent part of their Saturday, the first weekend in September, mowing and raking the yard of our Garden Dr. LifeHouse, preparing for a noon grilling outreach. After doing the yardwork, this team canvassed the neighborhood asking people how we could pray for them and inviting them to join us for a noon grilling event at our house.
Thanks to all of our volunteers who went out and invited neighbors, we had a good turnout at our noon grillout. They asked us to continue coming by for outreaches and offered to grill out at our next outreach and help with the remodeling of the home to prepare for our LifeHouse missional family to move into their community. Several of the neighbors expressed their appreciation for our outreach efforts to their community and said we were the answers to their prayers for God to send revival to their neighborhood.
We look forward to the day we have a family move into the Garden Drive community and share the light and love of Jesus and ask “Please won’t you be our neighbors?” Let us know how your church family would like to become involved as we expand our LifeHouse communities from 4 to 10 by the end of 2020.
Wanted Church Ministry partners with our LifeHouse families and communities:
Pastors, are your church families looking for an outreach opportunity in the Columbus area? We are looking for three local churches that are interested in partnering with our outreach to three transnational communities near the uptown Columbus area. Please call to discuss how your church family can become involved.
