Vision
Transform cities by serving in the areas of proclamation, compassion and justice.
Imagine hundreds of churches and organizations from across the Chattahoochee Valley area coming together to love, serve and pray for their region.
Imagine what could be accomplished if we built greater collaboration among civic, corporate, and church leaders spanning economic and denominational lines.
Imagine the impact if we could help establish sustainable efforts unique to each neighborhood that would revitalize entire areas of our community.
This is the vision of Take the City, a Christ-centered movement that unites and mobilizes the Body of Christ in the areas of proclamation, compassion and justice to see our cities revitalized.
Objectives:
- Develop a long-term, sustainable effort to accelerate the impact of the Church in the areas of proclamation, compassion and justice.
- Serve the various local churches and organizations and help them to accomplish all that God has called them to do.
- Increase collaboration among churches, non-profits, businesses, and the public sector to address the core issues of our area through increased service and prayer.
- Mobilize thousands of church-connected volunteers to serve in the Chattahoochee Valley area through unified initiatives.
- Support and partner with others to continue hosting Revival on the River, an annual area-wide event to celebrate the things God has been doing and inspire greater unified church impact.
