Please join us in welcoming our new LifeHouse Missionaries at Young Avenue: Maya Thomason and Nacie Jones. They will be moving into our Young Avenue Lifehouse June 1 to share the light and love of Jesus Christ in this community and build relationships with our neighbors and lead community outreach, discipleship, and bible studies.
Maya has been leading outreach and evangelism ministries for the last 4-5 years. She currently serves as a children’s pastor at a local church.
Maya has established a local resource ministry to provide food, clothing, and relocation assistance to struggling families in our community, and leads Camp Sunrise in the summers.
Maya works at a local Christian school and trains outreach leaders. She has served as a short term missionary in Costa Rica during the last 3 years.
Nacie has served as Grad Staff for TeenAdvisior.
She currently serves as Sunday evening Worship Leader and teaches 3 – 4 years old Sunday School at a local church.
Nacie has also served as a short term missionary in Cosa Rica.
Is your church family looking for an opportunity to become involved in reaching Columbus communities with the love, joy, and peace of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Take the City is looking for a couple of new LifeHouse ministry partners to join with us in supporting and encouraging our urban missionary families in community ministry and monthly outreaches in both the Young Ave community off of Veterans Parkway and Garden Dr off of Cusseta Rd.
Call to schedule a time where we can sit down and discuss how your church family would like to partner in reaching Columbus communities with the light and love of Jesus. I’d be pleased to buy you a cup of coffee at our new Harvest Coffee Co, located in our offices at 2910 2nd Ave.
