We’re Open! Harvest Coffee

After years of dreaming and now months of planning, construction and preparation we have officially opened up Harvest Coffee Community. It’s been an amazing process getting here and the past two weeks have been so exciting seeing so many people come and gather here at our coffee shop.

It was two weeks ago that we were holding our grand opening. So many people came out to support us. It was overwhelming and we are so grateful for everyone! We’re excited to report that in just our first two weeks we have far exceeded any expectations that we had as far as how well the coffee shop has been doing. We’ve had a huge response and so many people have been coming each day.

One of the most exciting parts of launching the coffee shop is actually not the coffee but rather the prayer room. With the launch of the coffee shop, we are now able to leave our prayer room open six days a week from 7 am until 8:30 pm each night. We have people from so many various churches and backgrounds already coming in at random times each day to pray, read the bible and seek God. Also, each day at 12 pm we are now hosting a prayer meeting for one hour that is open to the public. We typically take time during that hour each day to worship and then pray for various topics. We’d love for you to stop by sometime!

We hope to see you soon!

“Getting to be a part of Take the City was such a blessing both in seeing how God moved in the lives of the people I met as well as how he moved in my heart. I was so encouraged to be surrounded by people willing to passionately pray for their city and the people in it. As we worshipped, people would stop and ask what was going on and we got to talk and pray with them. I felt a greater desire to pray for our nation grow in me as we sang and prayed together.”
