Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
The American Dream is about the pursuit of happiness. In our life, most of us think this happiness is about the things we can acquire. The things of this life we acquire, however, will soon pass away.
Souls on the other hand is our fruit that remains. There are only two things that can go with us to Heaven. One our praise and two, souls that we win for the Kingdom of God. In John 15:16, Jesus tells his followers that He has chosen us and ordained us, that we may have fruit, and that our fruit should remain.
In Mark 15:16, Jesus tells us to go out and preach the Gospel to every creature. Verse 20 tells us that the disciples preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them, confirming his word with signs following. This is known as the great commission, which He also spoke about in Matthew 28.
Evangelism is a very important part of being a follower of Christ. It is how His truth gets spread around the world. Many religions, organizations, and other groups are spreading lies throughout the earth, to hinder people from believing the truth.
Atheists, Evolutionists, Muslims, and others who do not hold Christ as the way of man’s redemption for the remission of sin, are promoting what they believe in schools, in the media, and every outlet they can. Many Christians sit back in their places of worship, in their homes, and on their jobs, watching this happen everyday.
I believe the time has come for all Christians to arise, with fire in their souls, and begin to declare the works of our Great God. The one who is not DEAD but very much ALIVE and WELL.
Christ declares that when He is lifted high, He will draw all men unto himself. Everyday, we hesitate, or delay from doing what God has chosen us and ordained us for; more souls slip into eternity without Christ.
Please stand with me as we declare: He is Savior, Healer, Creator, King, Help in Times of Trouble, Friend, Father, Way Maker, Peace, Joy, Hope, a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So that Heaven can be filled with the fruit that remains.
