Would your Church like to become a Lifehouse Ministry Partner?

Thanks to Pastor Chuck Hasty and Grace Presbyterian Church for becoming our first Lifehouse Ministry Partners at our Bradley Circle Lifehouse. What a blessing and encouragement they are to Andrew and Ellen and their community ministry. They donate monthly to fund the cookouts and community outreach, work diligently in the community garden, and lead the Fall and Spring home Bible studies and discipleship.

We are praying for God to call out three additional Lifehouse Ministry Partners this summer. We currently have two completed Lifehouses that stand in need of a Church like yours to step into these ministry opportunities to plant and plow in God’s kingdom in East Highlands on 26th St and in Bibb City on Young Ave.

Our third ministry opportunity is a house in South Columbus on Garden Dr. off Cusseta Rd. This house is waiting for revitalization and repairs to make ready for an urban missionary family to become a neighbor and share the light and love of Jesus through prayer, encouragement, cookouts, community outreach, and home Bible studies.  Your Church family can invest in remodeling the kitchen and bathroom, replacing doors and windows, and installing an HVAC system.

Please contact me, Louis Chalmers at louis@take-the-city.com  or Andrew Chalmers at andrew@take-the-city.com to learn more about how your Church family can become a LifeHouse Ministry Partner with Take the City.

“Getting to be a part of Take the City was such a blessing both in seeing how God moved in the lives of the people I met as well as how he moved in my heart. I was so encouraged to be surrounded by people willing to passionately pray for their city and the people in it. As we worshipped, people would stop and ask what was going on and we got to talk and pray with them. I felt a greater desire to pray for our nation grow in me as we sang and prayed together.”
